IMPORTANT NEW SERVICES:
The Kings County Clerk/Recorder’s Office is excited to announce the implementation of our new Clerk/Recorder system beginning Monday, June 17, 2013.
One of the features of our new system allows us to publish, as a free service to our community, Searchable indexes for Birth, Death, Marriage, Real Estate, & Fictitious Business Names. In addition to the new indexes you will also be able to complete and submit applications for Fictitious Business Names and Marriage License on-line. We hope you will find these new services useful. The Kings County Clerk/Recorder is the recorder of real property documents and the custodian of all non judicial public records. Other duties include the issuance and registration of Marriage
Licenses, Birth & Death Certificates; Fictitious Business Names; Photocopier and Unlawful Detainer License; Notary Bond filings and Oaths; and the licensing of Process Servers and Legal
Document Assistants.
Office hours are Monday thorough Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Documents presented for recording must be delivered to our office by 3:00 p.m.; all requests for vital records, marriage license, and all other filings must be requested prior to 4:00 p.m. on regular business days. For a list of holidays and filing deadlines for half day holidays see our holiday schedule.
The types of documents that may be filed with the County Clerk/Recorder are established by
California law. Once a document is recorded it becomes a public record. Copies of recorded
documents are available during normal office hours.
The Clerk/Recorder is also the local commissioner of civil marriages and performs wedding
ceremonies. Arrangements may be made by calling (559) 582-3211 Ext. 2470.

La oficina de Grabador (Clerk/Recorder) del Condado de Kings esta contento en anunciar la implementación de nuestro nuevo sistema de Grabador (Clerk/Recorder) empezando el lunes 17 de junio del 2013.
Una de las nuevas características de nuestro sistema es que nos permite publicar, como un servicio gratis a nuestra comunidad, Índices de Nacimiento, Defunción, Matrimonio, Bienes Raíces, y Negocio Ficticio. Además de nuestros índices podrá completar y enviar las aplicaciones para Negocio Ficticio y Licencia de Matrimonio electrónicamente. Esperamos que encuentre estos nuevos servicios útiles para usted. El Grabador (Clerk/Recorder) del Condado de Kings es la grabadora de documentos de bienes raíces y el custodio de todos archivos públicos no judiciales. Otros deberes incluyen la emisión y la matrícula de Licencias de Matrimonio, Acta de Nacimiento y Certificados de Defunción; el Negocio Ficticio; la Fotocopia y la Licencia Retenida Ilegal; los expedientes del Bono de Notario y Juramentos; y el licenciar de Agentes judiciales y Ayudantes Legales de Documento.
Las horas de oficina son de lunes a viernes de 8:00 de la mañana a 5:00 de la tarde. Los documentos para registrarse deben ser entregados a nuestra oficina para las 3:00 de la tarde; todo pedido para registros esenciales, la licencia de matrimonio, y todos los otros expedientes deben ser solicitados antes de 4:00 de la tarde en días regulares. Para una lista de fechas de días festivos y de plazos de la limadura por días de fiesta vea nuestro horario de días festivos.
Los tipos de documentos que se puedan archivar con el grabador (Clerk/Recorder) del condado son establecidos por la ley de California. Una vez que un documento lo es registrado llega a ser un registro público. Las copias de documentos registrados están disponibles durante horas de oficina normales.
