"What programs or services are supported by property taxes?"
Property tax revenue supports our community. These revenues pay for such vital services such as law enforcement, fire services, and public health. It improves the quality of life by supporting our local public libraries, public parks, and public education. There are many other programs and services supported by the revenue generated by property taxes.

Welcome to the Treasurer-Tax Collector's website
We have a wealth of information about our services here. We also have a substantial amount of data available to our local agencies for their operational needs and reporting requirements.
The Treasurer-Tax Collector Department is responsible for tax collection, treasury management, and performs debt management services for the county, schools, and special districts. Tax collection of personal and real property taxes is in accordance with the Revenue and Taxation Code and miscellaneous tax and licensing in accordance with local ordinances.
Treasury management responsibilities include centralized receipt of funds, cash accounting, banking, investing surplus funds, and apportioning interest earning. The treasury staff also collects special district assessments and improvement assessments.
The Department performs various debt management services including financial advisory, analysis, investment management and arbitrage compliance.

Tax Quick Info:
- Annual Tax Bill: Mailed ONE TIME in October every year. Original Bill/Info Copy mailed to address on file. (As shown on recorded deed)
- Supplemental Bill: Mailed to the Owner, NOT sent to the Mortgage Company. OWNER'S responsibility to pay timely.
- Parcel Information: There is no parcel information on the internet.
- Change of Address: If you move, you must file a change of address form with the Assessor.
- File with Assessor: Form found at the Assessor site under "Quick Links" Complete and sign the form and send to the Assessor.
- Accepted Method of Payment: Cash, Check, Money order, Cashier's Check. May use one check to pay multiple parcels, multiple checks to pay one parcel.
NO credit or debit cards accepted.
