Adoptions Unit

1400 W. Lacey Blvd. #8
Hanford, CA 93230

The Kings County Human Services Agency provides adoption services to children who are Dependents of the Kings County Juvenile Court, who were not able to reunify with their birth parents, and need a Forever Family.  The Agency’s Adoptions Unit works closely with Child Welfare Services staff in making sure that children  who cannot be reunited with their birth parents find permanent, stable homes where they will be nurtured and loved.  Kings County requires anyone wishing to adopt a foster child who is not related to the child to first become a licensed foster parent.

To request information about becoming a licensed foster parent contact Licensing Social Worker Jennifer Bell at:  559-582-3241 extension 2334.

If you are already a licensed foster parent and are interested in adoption please contact Adoptions Supervisor Julie Flores, MSW at:  559-582-3241 extension 2351.
