FOSTER PARENTS ARE:

Ordinary people who want to provide love, security, and nurturing to a child in need.

Foster parents come from all walks of life; every race, ethnicity, religion, and income level is represented in foster families.

FOSTER CHILDREN ARE:

Children who can not live with their birth family due to abuse or neglect. Many foster children have not been taught self care skills, and come from homes where drug abuse, domestic violence and general chaos are a way of life. Some foster children don't know what it is like not to be hungry, or to sleep on sheets, or to receive a hug.
