Food
Talk is an educational newsletter that is published quarterly by Pike &
Fischer, Inc. EHS sends the newsletter to all permitted retail food facilities
as a way to communicate basic food safety techniques directly to food handlers
and operators. In addition to the information provided by the newsletter, inserts
are included with information on our local program. The inserts include information
about our consultation services and upcoming training classes, summaries and comparisons
of inspection results, food program complaint summaries, changes in legislation
and other pertinent information. Recent themes of Food Talk have included
illness causing bacteria, pest control, handwashing and food temperature law changes.
The newsletter is available on a limited basis upon request by contacting EHS.
