Welcome to the Kings County Redistricting Website.  Following each Federal Census, California law requires that Single-Member Voting District boundaries be realigned to reflect changes in population based on Census data.

During this time most political jurisdictions will be evaluating the Federal Census data to determine if there is a need to shift boundary lines to reflect changes in population.  This website is dedicated to providing timely information regarding proposed changes in the Kings County Board of Supervisor’s District boundaries. 

Here you will find frequently asked questions on redistricting, proposed district plans and data, the time and location of public meetings where these proposals will be discussed, as well as an email link that will allow you to send your comments, suggestions, and questions to the Board of Supervisors and County Staff.
