Substations

The Kings County Sheriff's Office substations are strategically located throughout the county in order to best serve our communities.
Substations are currently located in Avenal, Corcoran, El Rancho, Kettleman CIty and Stratford.

The City of Avenal currently contracts with the Kings County Sheriff's Office to provide law enforcement services.  Any crimes or traffic collisions occurring within the City Limits of Avenal are investigated by the Kings County Sheriff's Office.

Commander Dave Putnam currently oversees the operations of the West side area Sub-stations (Avenal and Kettleman City) and can be reached by calling (559)386-5361.

The Kettleman City Sub-station falls under the command of the west side area commander. 
To report a crime, traffic collision, or speak with a deputy in the Avenal or Kettleman City area, telephone (559) 386-5361 or call 911 in the event of an emergency.
