The Kings County Elections Department conducts Federal, State, School, County, City, and Special District elections.
We are located in the Finance Building, across the breezeway from the Assessor's Office. Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our ELECTION RESULTS web page is the place to find up to date information from our most current election. If you would like to see what the vote was in recent previous elections click on the green Election Results button and then on the historic results link. Check out the Campaign Disclosure section, which can be found by clicking on the green Other Information button. It is designed to help candidates and committees understand their filing and disclosure requirements under the Fair Political Practices Act.
For Persons With Disabilities:
Under state and federal law, no qualified individual with a disability shall, by reason of such disability, be excluded from participation in or be denied benefits of services, programs, or activities of a public entity, or be subjected to discrimination by any such entity. The County of Kings is committed to ensuring that all qualified individuals with disabilities have equal and full access to the elections system. If special accommodation is needed, the County may provide aids and services, like assistive listening devices. If you require an accommodation, please write, call, or visit the County Elections Department to let us know what you need. Please do this at least 10 days before your request needs to be fulfilled to allow adequate time for assistance to be provided. The County cannot make accommodations that would change the nature of our services, activities, or programs, or that would cause undue financial or administrative burdens. The law does not require the County to make these kinds of changes.
