Important Information for Property Owners:

Recently a private company has begun circulating a document offering to provide copies of deeds for recently transferred properties.  This document appears official, and includes a charge to obtain copies of these records. While the document does state that the company is not affiliated with the county in which your deed was recorded, this document still appears misleading and official.

Please note that any property owner may obtain a copy of their deed directly from the Kings County Clerk-Recorder's Office for a nominal fee.  You can contact that office directly at (559) 852-2470 if you have any questions about obtaining a copy of your deed.
