Comprehensive Perinatal Service Program
The Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) provides a wide range of culturally competent services to eligible pregnant women, from conception through 60 days postpartum. In addition to standard obstetric services, women receive enhanced services in the areas of nutrition, psychosocial and health education.
- To decrease the incidence of low birth weight in infants.
- To improve the outcome of every pregnancy.
- To give every baby a healthy start in life.
- To lower health care costs by preventing catastrophic illness in infants and children.
CPSP Lunchbox Seminars:
These are free education seminars offered to all persons who work with perinatal women. They are held at the Central Valley Network Chapel (same place, new name) 1025 N Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230 on Wednesday’s from 11:30am – 2pm.
Directions: corner of Douty and Florinda. The Chapel is behind Central Valley Network
Parking: behind St Brigid Church or on the North side of the hospital or on the street.
